1. Data controller
The data controller is Metalsky SA, Via Vite 3, CH-6855 Stabio, Switzerland. For any question about data protection you can write to [email protected].
2. Legal framework
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (revFADP, in force since 1 September 2023) and, where applicable, with European Regulation 2016/679 (GDPR).
3. Scope
This notice covers this website only. It does not cover third-party sites reachable through links, including steelia.ch, which have their own notices.
4. Browsing data
While you browse, our systems automatically collect some technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited and access times. This data is required to deliver the site and is used only in aggregate, anonymous form to check that it works correctly.
5. Data you provide
By filling in the contact form you send us your name, any company, email, phone number and the text of your message. This data is used only to answer your request and is not shared with third parties outside the Steelia group.
6. Job applications
Applications sent to the dedicated address are kept for the duration of the selection process and, unless you tell us otherwise, for a maximum of twelve months, so that we can contact you if a suitable position opens.
7. Cookies
The site uses technical cookies that are essential to its operation (for example to remember your cookie preferences). Third-party content — such as the Google Maps map — is loaded only after your explicit consent. We use no statistical or marketing cookies; should any be introduced in the future, we would ask for your consent again.
8. Third-party services
The site may load Google services: Google Fonts for typefaces, Google reCAPTCHA to protect the contact form from abuse and Google Maps for the map of our premises (only with your consent). These services may process technical data such as your IP address according to their own Google notices.
9. Data retention
Data is kept only for as long as strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, unless longer retention is required by law.
10. Your rights
At any time you can request access to your data, its correction, deletion, restriction of processing or portability, and object to processing. Just write to [email protected]. You also have the right to contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
11. Managing preferences
You can change or withdraw your cookie consent at any time through the «Cookie settings» link in the footer of every page.
12. Updates
This notice may be updated. Substantial changes will be flagged on this page with a new update date.
